Description

Power Play Breakout

All players start drill at Centre Ice Faceoff.
Coach dumps puck into zone players set up for PP Breakout as diagram in tech pack and simple set up show above.

D1 carries puck up left side of the ice.
F1 curls outside to inside dot as shown
F2 curls outside to inside as shown
D2 curls wide as shown
F3 times a strong cut at the top of the ice as shown.

Players will breakout and gain the zone playing the PP out trying to score.

When coach blows the whistle a new puck is dumped into far zone and same players must retrieve and breakout again.

Drill continues until players here two quick whistles to end drill.

Progressions:
1 = no PKer's
2 = 4 PKer's sticks upside down
3 = full Pker's with full pressure.
