Wild Man Attack

Diagrams

Description

-X1 starts with the puck attacking the zone, Crosby around the small PEP and quick change of direction to the shooting lane for a quick shot.
-As X1 shoots O1 fires a puck around the boards to the back of the net where X1 will pick the puck off the boards.
-X1 then does the Crosby down low out from behind the net protecting the puck for another quick release shot.
-After X1 shoots O1 does the same from that side, drill continues.

Notes: - Have the players alternate sides after completion.
- Pick the puck off the boards with stick and then get them to use their skates, square up and stop the puck with their skate and pass it to their stick.
- Add progression after the first part of the exercise is executed.
