Description
This drill works Goalie, Shooting and Passing
Set up as shown, on coaches whistle players behind the net go to puck pile and retrieve a puck , players along the boards head for the tires from the inside of the ice.
The players with the puck then return behind the net as the skaters continue circling the tires. The players circling the tires must keep their eyes on the player with the puck and their stick on the ice ready to shot at any time.
Once the player behind the net has come to a stop he can then choose to come out from behind the net on either side and make a hard one time pass to the player forcing the tires.
The entire time the goalies must track the players with the puck because the coach could tell one or both of them to try a stuffing attempt.
This drill goes until the coach blows the whistle to stop , the shooter then becomes the passer and the passers go into the lines
