Description
#1. 3 on 3 - Yellow (X) and Black (O)
Coach dumps puck in zone, both 3 yellow and 3 black skate around net before playing puck. Switch out each team every 30-45 seconds, or coach puts in new puck on goal or save depending on amount of time play has gone on.
Next group of 6 ready to go. Goalies change after 3 turns
#2 Jail Break - - Yellow (X) and Black (O)
Coach dumps puck into the zone, players skate to battle for possession (1v1), player that WINS the puck must make a pass back to next player in there line to make it a 2v1. Player that didn't win battle for puck plays defense - if they regain possession they also must make pass to their line to make it a 2v2, etc...no limit to passes to your line ie. 3v1.
Depending on time, drill ends when goalie covers puck or a team scores.
KEYS: Keep feet moving, good passes and communication = TALK
