Description

Coach dumps puck in corner.

D skates in (looks back to see if any pressure is coming).

D retrieves puck and stick handles around the net, stop, proceeds back toward corner and then makes a pass to X1

X1 simply skates the puck out and simply gets back in line

Notes: The objective of this drill is to get a defensemen comfortable with retrieving the puck in his/her zone and stick handle away from pressure while making a pass up the boards to forward.
