Shooting Technique (Wrist & Snap Shots)

Description

Focus is to work on shooting technique:

Wrist Shot - Stance is more sideways then a snap shot and there is a weight transfer from one foot to the other. Stick starts further behind the body.
1) Stationary weight transfer power wrist shot
2) Pull and shoot quick release wrist shot
3) Catch pass and shoot wrist shot

Snap Shot - Stance is more with toe caps pointing towards target, can shoot off either foot, Puck position is beside of slightly in front of feet. Hands are slightly wider then with Wrist Shot. Use the flex of the stick to generate power. Important to get your hands away from your body and push with bottom hand as you pull with top hand.
1) Shoot off stick side (front) foot
2) Shoot off Back foot
3) Shoot in stride
