6 Drill Circuit D

Diagrams

Description

This is a skills development circuit.
Top Left: Quick 2 on 0 with a low bank pass and attack the net
Top Middle: Puck off. The object is to knock the other player's puck off of his stick and out of the playing area while protecting your own puck.
Top Right: Backwards pivot and backwards skating with the puck, a series of toe drag moves, a deke on the coach then a shot on net.
Bottom Left: Pathfinder. Players must weave their way through the pucks and cones, circling each cone at least once, then finish with a scoring chance.
Bottom Middle: Quick give and go skating with pivots around the cones plus a scoring chance.
Bottom Right: Double shots, a bank pass plus a 1 on 1.

Notes: TL: Attackers can walk out from behind the net and shoot or use their partner and pass.
TM: Last player in control of his puck wins!
TR: Vary the moves around and through the pylons.
BL: Quick hands and be creative in the path you take.
BM: Try to make as many tape to tape passes as possible while in movement.
BR: Coach should position himself to make the defending player make a bank pass around him.
