Novice C3 Stations 1

Description
Station 1: Forward skates with puck outside the cones and must pick a lane to go through. Foward then drives to the net with puck and shoots from the slot. Defence must try to fource player to the outside lane and prevent forward from shooting. Defence learns to keep player outside and learns angle of attack. Players alternate between F & D.
Station 2: Set up 5 cones in a single line. Players line up in pairs and must pass the puck between the cones. Make sure there is enough time and spacing between pairings. Repeat from the other end.
Station 3: Players line up in threes. Coach gently shoots puck into the corner. Players 1 & 2 race to the corner and battle for puck possesion. Player 3 goes to the front of the net for a pass. Player who gains puck tries to pass to player in front. Once pass is made both players go to the net for a rebound.
