Description

This is a board battle drill, after which the two players battle to get the puck to the circle.

- Set up two pylons along the boards in the corner.
- One player starts at either pylon and the coach places a puck in the middle.
- On "Go" players go for puck and try to establish body position
- After one player controls puck, he takes it to the face off circle. The other player continues to battle and if he steals the puck he is on offence.
- Play ends after puck is in the face off ice circle.

Can also modify to force the players to get the puck to the face off dot.
