G-Town Loops

Diagrams

Description

Orange forward and red forward in zone to left start drill. Orange takes puck and passes to green D who tip passes to red forward exiting zone. Orange forward loops and regroups around opposite blue line and attacks far side, staying wide. Red foward takes pass and stays wide through neutral zone before passing to pink forward in opposite end. Blue and green D skate into neutral zone, then pivot back towards starting zone to face 3-on-2. Pink D takes pass, bank passes back to red forward who pivots and gets pass off boards. Three forwards set up offensive zone attack through neutral zone, carry puck wide, with one driving net and one staying high. Play to one good scoring opportunity then clear back into lines.

Once these players have started back towards initial starting zone, opposite side starts, with two forwards coming off the boards with a puck, passing to next D in line and mirroring the previous group. Continuous flow drill.
