Puck Protection Basics (Small Space)

Description

A. Small area Shadowing drills.(defender can flip stick)1) Top hand skills with no defender 2) Toe pull with 10 & 2 open away from where you pull the puck. 3) Cutbacks pull puck with toe or heel tight to the body and cut back while facing opponent (sell the pass and then cut) 4) pull between legs forhand or backhand to help get body between you and defender while cutting back. 5) O on offence X on defence, Stationary puck protection w/2 hands. 6) Top hand only, Toe and heel drag and counter lean with body and extend free hand 7)Tap oponents stick away and go opposite way.

B) Use all skills in a battle in the circle Defender try to gain control if puck leaves circle coach puts new puck in.
