Description
Shooting: PLayers lineup and receive passes at various speeds from the coaches; move to get the puck don't wait for it. Look at opening and shoot at net; emphasize aiming for the inside of the posts
Pin and Battle: In the neutral zone have the forwards versus the defence. puck along the boards have winger and d battle. Center comes and pins the defence with skate between the legs to help winger win the battle. Do on both sides; ensure non-battle players are in right position ready to pounce.
Read and React breakout:
Coach dumps puck in defence obtains and makes decision based on position of teammates. Wingers and Centers curl around pylon moving out of the zone; emphasize on reading and movement.
