Half ice two stage battle drill
Need pucks in the corner, two players at the points, and two players, one F and D to start the drill.
Phase 1
D starts around the inside hashmarks and F starts in the corner. On go, the coach passes a puck to the F and the D goes and hits the post and then closes the gap on the F. The F takes the puck to the net for a scoring chance and the D tries to stop them.
Phase 2
After this scoring chance, a coach or extra player pass a puck to the point. X1 pivots and passes to X2 for a second shot on net. During this time the F is fighting for position in front of the net for a screen, tip, and rebound in that order. The D tries to keep the F out of the goalies line of sight and ties up their stick.
After this scoring chance is done, the players rotate clockwise. D becomes X2, X2 to X1, X1 to X3, X3 to F, F to D and then the drill starts again.
