Description

Coach Pass Keep Away

This is a drill designed to encourage passing in tight spaces.

Set up a confined space.

Divide the group into two teams.

The point of the game is to keep control of the puck and complete passes between teammates or with the coaches.

Experiment with different scoring systems.

For example, 3 completed passes gets a point. Then 4 completed passes to get a second point, or if that is too easy, 5 passes to get a point. Try different strategies to keep it interesting.

Coaches can join to give players more options to pass to.
