Description

1 v 1, 2 v 2, 3 v 2

This is a 3 stage battle drill.

Part 1, on go, F1 tries to beat D1 taking the puck to the net. After that battle has finished.

F2 tries to beat D2 to the net, while F1 tries to get open in front of the net and D1 continues to cover F1.

After that puck is dead, F3 brings a third puck in for a 3 on 2.

Notes, one variation is for the D to touch the post before engaging F, and for coaches to have the pucks and start the drill with a pass to each player.

Forwards rotate positions, after each sequence, and start the sequence with a different D each time.
