Triple shot 2 on 1
Not the best drawing but the drill isn't too complicated either.
Each sequence starts with a D at the blue line, and 2 forwards in the corner. Extra players wait in the corners.
Drill runs on both sides and starts on the whistle.
On whistle first forward skates around the faceoff dot and fires a shot on net. Goalie should track puck and the player. After the first shot the first player heads to the front of the net for a screen tip rebound, and the second forward skates around the top of the circle for a shot on net. After the second shot, the second player sets up for another screen, tip, rebound. Meanwhile a coach passes to the D, who walks the line for a hard low shot.
After the 3rd shot, the first forward heads to the boards for a breakout pass from the coach, and the 2nd forward fills the center lane on the breakout. The D should hold their ground at the blue line to see if the first player receives the puck cleanly. If they do receive it cleanly, the D backs off and plays the 2 on 1.
D should try to stay in the passing lane and try to stop the play. Fs need to read what the D is doing and decide whether to drive hard to the net or slow up to improve the passing angle.
3 players simply go to the back of the other line, where there can be a line for Fs and another line for Ds.
