Pinching D 2 on 2

Diagrams

Description

Same thing at both ends. On Whistle X1 (can be a D or F) rims puck with hopes of getting the puck out of the zone. X2 drives to the boards to chip the puck past D1 who is pinching down. F1 is sliding back to the blue line to support and keep the puck in.

If F1 or D1 keep the puck in they become on offense and play 2 on 2 vs X1 and X2. IF X1 or X2 get the puck out from the chip out past the blueline then X1 & X2 become offense vs F1&D1 to play 2 on 2 in the zone. Allow about 20 seconds for them to play 2 on 2.
