Description
3 F vs 2 D - Coach starts drill by dumping puck into corner. D must recover puck and work together to prevent shots. Must skate puck out. F try to score goals and generate as many offensive chances as they can by moving to space, using give and go, and getting pucks to net.
Coach will dump new puck on save or goal, change group on zone exit. D work to get out of game quickly, forwards work hard to play more.
Notes: Progression is to use countdown to ensure players going at game speed. 5-4-3... to push pace.
