Back to Back Nets

Description

Back to Back Nets

This can be run as 3 on 3, 4 on 4, etc.

Can also put the nets in the center ice area as a variation.

Set up two nets back to back and split the group into two teams. Use about 1 minutes shifts to switch out the players. Players can have a water break while they are off.

Another variation is to have one coach be an outlet for the players on the offensive side.

This set-up creates lots of scoring chances and it helps the goalies track the puck behind the net. Because space is confined, premium is on passing, checking, and good decision making.
