Joe's quick shot drill
Different variations of quick release drills
Version 1 - set up two lines of players, one on each side of net. First player in each line gets into position, in front of the net off to the side. Coach passes to their outside, they quickly spin and shoot and go to the back of their line and the next person gets in position.
Version 2 - Players move back, and coach moves up. Players start facing the net. Coach passes behind them, forcing them to spin to receive the pass, and then they quickly pivot to the outside and shoot the puck.
Version 3 - Set up a Montreal drill type set up where pass would go from the corner, to d to d, to a slap pass to one of the forwards in front, who will spin and shoot.
