Criss-Cross 2 on 1

This is a drill that works on cross-overs, passing, and shooting

Forwards line up in opposite corners, D line up in one of the corners too.

On go, the two forwards start their patterns, with one of them having a puck and taking a shot on net. Around the time the players are at the top of the circles, the D will start carrying the puck around the net so that they will be in a good position for a breakout pass to the boards. The forwards will then cross at the blue line and pass to each other, and the D will close the gap and then play the 2 on 1.
