Description

To start drill 2 Defensemen support puck on blue line and receive pass from nearside F. D to D pass occurs with lateral movement a shot is taken by D. Once the shot is taken the two F's take off on a 2v2, the puck carrier is the non-passer. The Defense need to backpeddle hard to maintain good positioning.
1. After 2v2 is finished coach blows whistle.
2. 2 D having moved to blue line receive pass from nearside forward, complete D-D pass for shot.
3. While D are passing D-D the 2 F's must touch end boards then establish a strong net front presence
4. The 2-defenders identify their men and defend
5. Play rebound.
