Description
1. forward skates up boards looking to receive a pass from the defense, who makes a pass at about the top of the circle to forward.
2. forward skates around cone and turns for a shot on net.
3. after passing the puck, the defense gets another puck and skates behind net(mirroring the forward, looking to make a breakout pass to the forward.
4. after shooting forwards loops around bottom of far cicle, looking for a pass from the defense.
5. both skaters now skate out to cones at center ice and make a sharp turn back towards goalie, defense pivots and skates backwards making it a 1 on 1.
Notes: defense should work on gap control and forcing the forward to the outside.
