Description

This a good 1 on 1 and 2 on 1 drill.

Drill starts on the whistle, with D passing to the F, who drives around the top of the circle for a shot while the D defends the play.

After the shot, the coach blows a second whistle to indicate that the next phase is started - in this part, the coach passes to the D who then passes to the F. The F carries the puck the length of the ice to attack the D from the other end. The D hustles to neutral zone to close the gap and play the 1 on 1 vs the oncoming forward from the other side.

For the 2 on 1 version, just add a cycle play to start off the drill and the rest remains the same.
