Three Line Flow - 1 vs 0, 2 vs 0

Diagrams     

Description

Drill is continuous.

X1 skates up boards and passes to X in mid ice; X shoots.
X1 swings and gets pass from X2, then returns pass to X2.
X1 becomes X (will receive pass from O1).

X2 now headmans to X3, who has timed his skate, and joins X3 for 2 vs 0.

O1 begins when X1 becomes X.

Notes: X1 uses turns or pivots as per the wishes of the Coach.

Rotate through the numbers.

Progression:
1. 1 vs 1 component...After shooting X jumps up, closing the gap and plays defender vs X1. (PURPLE)
2. 2 vs 1/2 vs 2 component...X2 and X3 play defence after shooting.(YELLOW)
