Description

Myers 8 Pass - one lane

This is a really good drill for working on one touch passing.

Coach starts with the pucks out by X1

To start the sequence, coach gives a puck to X1.

First 3 passes:

X1 now has a puck. X1 passes to X2 and then starts skating towards X2. Important to pass first and then start skating to give extra time. X2 will pass back to X1. X1 then passes back to X2.

Next 3 passes

X2 now has the puck. X2 passes to X3. X3 passes to X1. X1 passes back to X3.

Last 2 passes

X3 now has the puck. X3 passes to X2. X2 passes to X1 who takes a shot on net.

Rotation of players. X1 becomes X2, X2 becomes X3, X3 goes to the back of the line where X1 started.

To start, go slow until kids pick up the pattern and then increase the speed.
