Description

One end criss cross with coach

This is a simple skating, passing, and shooting drill to have the kids skate with their heads up and be ready to receive a pass at all times.

Break the group up so that about half are in each corner. Start the pucks in one corner.

On go the first player in each line starts. The player with the puck passes to the coach, who will pass to either player. The players then can pass back to coach or to the other player. The players enter the zone and go 2 on 0 on the goalie.

Players cross in the neutral zone and must keep their heads up and be ready to receive a pass.

Next variation is to run this as a 3 on 0 with 2 players starting from 1 side and player from the other side.

Try to mix it up and not follow the same passing pattern.

Players should switch sides each time.
