Half ice 5 on 3 powerplay blender
One variation for this game is described here. Feel free to mix it up.
On go, coach dumps puck in and red defensive team races around the first pylon and the blue offensive team races around the second pylon.
Red is killing the penalty, Blue is trying to score.
In this version, have it so the red team needs to clear the puck 2 times before the teams switch. After they clear the first puck, just give a new puck to one of the offensive team players and yell new puck.
Switch on a goal or after 2 clears.
Defensively, work hard to get puck and then clear it down the ice.
Offensively, control the puck and keep it away from the defensive team and move it to good scoring locations (middle of ice). Focus on puck control and good spacing.
If the offensive team loses the puck, they need to attack and get it back, always outnumber the penalty killers on the puck.
