Deleted Vault items go to the Trash first, so you can bring them back.
Step 1 — Open the Trash
Go to Vault → More → Trash.
Step 2 — Restore the item
Find the item and click Restore. It goes back to your Vault.
Deleting for good
- Click the ✕ (Delete forever) button next to an item to remove it right away.
- Click Empty Trash to permanently delete everything in the Trash.
Both can't be undone.
Good to Know
- Items stay in the Trash for 30 days. The Auto-Remove column shows how many days are left.
- Just deleted something by mistake? Click Undo in the message that appears.
- Only your own links, notes, files and images go to the Vault Trash. Deleted drills, plans and playbooks are in the Trash of their own section.
- Deleting a folder doesn't delete its items. See Organizing with Folders.
Tips
- Check the Trash before re-uploading a file you think you lost.
- Use Empty Trash when you're sure you don't need anything in it.
