Description

All players have pucks inside the blue line and randomly skate + stickhandle. Focus on head-up with strong stickhandling.1st whistle: full speed. 2nd whistle: back to normal speed. Coaches can modify whistle activities as needed (eg, change direction, stationary stickhanlde, play knockout, etc).

Notes: Keep fun, emphasize game-like importance of keeping head up and good individual puck control. Challenge kids to increase skating and stickhandling speed with head up.
