Description

Setup players and cones as shown (adjust for number of players, X's inside the circle each start with a puck ). At coach whistle, each player X passes to a free player O, then moves to receive a pass from a different player O. When a player X has passed and received with every player O, they shoot/rebound on net until they score or the goalie freezes/catches.
KNOCKOUT VARIATION: The last player not to score becomes a defender within the circle on the next iteration trying to block all passes/shots. Repeat until winning player X. Switch Xs and Os and repeat drill.

Notes: Emphasize slot movement, communication, speed, edgework, strong/leading passes, and shooting to score.
