Wrist Shot Reivew

Description

Coaches to split the group in two and have them line up facing the boards about 6 ft away spread out down the ice. Coach to demonstrate a the proper wrist shot and players to use pucks behind them to shoot as many times as possible.

First time through - weight on the back leg, load up your shot and lift your front foot off the ice to start the drive towards your target.

Second time through - load the puck up, weight on the back leg and start bringing the puck forward slowly, once the puck gets up to your body, speed up the follow through and roll your wrist.

Third time through - full wrist shot.
