Description

- LW pressuring puck carrier very aggressively with RW close behind looking to pick up the loose puck.

- C hovers around high slot, be patient. Keep feet moving.

- RD inline with far post and

- LD on the boards

Notes: Centre and D form a triangle. This allows the D to spread wider and yet still makes it difficult for opposition to get out of their zone.

If the other team gains control of the puck and attempts to come up the strong side boards or through the middle then the Centre becomes an aggressive forechecker attempting to keep the play within the offensive zone.
