Half Ice 3 on 2 With Cycle & Shot From Point

Diagrams

Description

Coach dumps a puck in and the D breakout with the F's. F's must make three passes before they reach the blueline. After three passes are made they regroup with the coach. Coach sends them in on a 3 vs 0. Each Forward must touch the puck before they shoot.

Meanwhile D sprint hard to the red line, pivot and skate backwards to the blue line. Turn and face the play to be on offence now.

After, the first shot on a 3 vs 0, if there is a rebound F's take it to the corner and do one cycle. Pass to the point and go to the net for a rebound.

Notes: Great drill for D zone coverage and utilizing the triangle on the rush.
