Perform FAQ & Troubleshooting

Perform FAQ & Troubleshooting

Quick answers to the questions we hear most about Perform.

Athletes & Data

What's the difference between Archive, Delete and Clear Testing Data?
Archive hides an athlete from the main athlete list but keeps everything. Archived athletes still appear on leaderboards and reports, and you can Restore them at any time. Delete permanently removes the athlete with all of their results, share links and dashboard settings. Clear Testing Data keeps the athlete's profile, classifications and headshot but permanently deletes their results, share links, dashboard settings and import history. Delete and Clear Testing Data can't be undone.

I archived athletes, so why am I still at the Free limit?
Archived athletes still count toward the 22-athlete limit. To free up space on the Free plan, delete athletes you no longer need, or upgrade to Premium.

Can I move an athlete to a different organization?
Not at the moment. Add the athlete in the other organization, then import their results with a CSV file (Premium).

Does Perform convert between metric and imperial units?
No. A metric's unit is a label that you choose, such as cm, in, kg or lbs. Enter every result for a metric in the same unit, and create a second metric if you need both.

Limits

What are the Free plan limits?
On Free you can own 1 organization, with up to 22 athletes, 5 custom metrics and 1 saved leaderboard in it. Metrics added from a template count toward the 5. Premium removes these limits and adds results import, PDF and CSV exports, share links, emailed reports, organization members, AI summaries and Check-Ins.

Leaderboards

Why isn't an athlete on the leaderboard?
Check the following:

  • The athlete has no result for that metric in the selected date range.
  • A classification filter is on, and the athlete isn't in that group.
  • The Top N setting cuts the list off before their rank.
  • Their only results are zero. Zero values are left off leaderboards.

Why can't I build a leaderboard for Height or Weight?
Metrics set to Neutral (neither higher nor lower is better) can't be ranked. Change the metric's direction if a ranking makes sense for it.

Sharing

A share link stopped working. Why?
A share link stops working when:

  • it has expired (links last 30, 90 or 365 days, or never, depending on what was chosen when it was created)
  • it was revoked
  • the athlete was deleted, or their testing data was cleared
  • the coach account that added the athlete is no longer on Premium

In the last case, nothing is deleted. The link works again after an upgrade. To send a new link, create a fresh one from the athlete's profile.

Does a parent lose access if I revoke the share link?
Not once they've claimed the profile. A claim stays in place even if the link that was used to claim is revoked or expires.

Organizations

What happens if I delete my organization?
Everything in it is permanently deleted: athletes, results, notes, metrics, classifications, saved leaderboards, AI summaries, Check-Ins and member access. Only the owner can do it, and it can't be undone.

I can't open Settings for my organization.
Organization settings are for owners and admins. Ask the owner to change your permission level.

Some numbers look out of date.
Most pages refresh within a few minutes. To refresh straight away, an owner or admin can go to Settings → General Settings → Clear Organization Cache. It doesn't delete anything.

Tips

  • Use Archive for players who've moved on. Use Delete only for profiles added by mistake.
  • Export PDFs or CSVs before deleting athletes or an organization. Deleted data can't be recovered.
  • If something else isn't working, use Contact Support at the bottom of any page and tell us the athlete or page you were on.
